Structure, Space, and Stories
PHLin Jewellery is a contemporary jewellery brand founded by designer and jeweller Pei-Hua Lin in Melbourne, Australia.
Inspired by the relationship between structure, space, and movement, PHLin creates sculptural silver jewellery designed for everyday wear. Through asymmetrical forms, flowing lines, and open compositions, each piece explores how objects occupy space around the body and how jewellery can become an extension of personal expression.
Rather than following trends, PHLin focuses on creating pieces that feel timeless, distinctive, and deeply personal. Every design begins with an idea, a feeling, or a moment in life, transforming abstract emotions into wearable forms.
The Story Behind PHLin
PHLin is more than a name.
While it comes from the founder's initials, it also reflects the values that shape the brand: Purpose, Hope, and the quiet feelings that influence our journey through life.
Born in Taiwan and now based in Melbourne, Pei-Hua's journey into jewellery began in 2010 while working in jewellery sales. Surrounded by gemstones, precious metals, and the stories behind them, she developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and meaningful design.
In 2015, that curiosity became a calling. She began formal jewellery training and transitioned from selling jewellery to creating it by hand.
After moving to Australia, she studied Jewellery and Object Design at Melbourne Polytechnic, graduating in 2020. Today, her practice combines traditional goldsmithing techniques with contemporary digital tools, including 3D modelling and printing, allowing ideas to move freely between sketch, screen, and metal.
Crafted to Be Worn, Designed to Be Remembered
Every PHLin piece is thoughtfully designed and carefully finished in Melbourne.
By combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, PHLin seeks to create jewellery that feels both artistic and wearable — pieces that can be enjoyed every day while remaining meaningful for years to come.
Jewellery is more than adornment.
It is a reminder of where we have been, what we believe in, and what we hope for next.
