PHLin Jewellery is a contemporary jewellery practice founded by designer and jeweller Pei-Hua Lin, based in Melbourne, Australia.
Rooted in themes of restoration, hope, and the quiet beauty found within imperfection, PHLin creates sculptural jewellery that explores the relationship between structure, space, and the body. Each piece reflects a belief that beauty is not found in flawless perfection, but in the balance between order and irregularity, completeness and imperfection, symmetry and asymmetry.
Rather than following trends, every collection begins with a question, an experience, or a moment of reflection. Through precious metals, enamel, and contemporary making techniques, abstract emotions are transformed into wearable forms that invite personal interpretation.
The Story Behind PHLin
PHLin is more than a name.
While it originates from the founder's initials, it also reflects the values that shape the practice — Purpose, Hope, and the belief that every life carries a story worth remembering.
Born in Taiwan and now based in Melbourne, Pei-Hua's journey into jewellery began in 2010 while working in jewellery retail. Surrounded by gemstones, precious metals, and the stories they carried, she discovered that jewellery could preserve memories, celebrate milestones, and quietly accompany people through different seasons of life.
In 2015, that curiosity became a calling. She began formal goldsmith training in Taiwan, learning traditional bench jewellery techniques before moving to Australia to continue her studies in Jewellery and Object Design at Melbourne Polytechnic.
Today, her practice combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary digital processes, including 3D modelling and printing, allowing ideas to move fluidly between sketch, screen, and metal.

Inspired by the hidden order found in nature and the resilience of the human experience, each work seeks to create space for reflection. Open forms, flowing structures, and moments of asymmetry are intentionally preserved, allowing each piece to embody movement, restoration, and quiet strength.
